GİO 2017
Third time is the Charm!
GİO Awards are given by FABİSAD (Fantasy and Sci-Fi society of Turkey) annually for excellence in the fields it represents to those that provide exceptional talent and skills. It’s categories varies from illustrations, short movies, comics, story anthologies and fiction books.
I’ve yet again had the privilege to designing the GİO Awards. In my third year, I had the chance to share my ideas with everyone that attended the event. It was an unforgettable night.
The Plaque Awards
Here are the 2017 Awards designs
These plaques are covered with our society’s logo across their plates. I’ve designed them as so that these plaques are more personal and unique since the typograhical elements changes their location based on the category and degree of success
Presentation
Museum of Fantasy & SCI-FI
Welcome to THE MUSEUM
This years presentation is the continuation of the previous years theme. Since I’ve already designed a whole Museum back in 2016.
This year we dwell in it the way it was meant to be in the first draft. The contenders works are placed within the museum and presentation proceeds as we walk around them.
Thanks to voice actors, the presentation was also vocally enchanced with artists reading passages from the stories.
